Development of a technology for refinement of zinc oxide concentrates by reduction of impurities, using hydrometallurgical processes for removal of soluble compounds which are contained in impurities.
Description: Within the scope of the project the scientific staff of the Łukasiewicz – Institute of Non-Ferrous Metals in Gliwice provides a service consisting in the development of a new technology. It will concern the upgrading of zinc oxide concentrates. The study should also include guidelines for the design of the technological installation and the necessary infrastructure.
Project goal: Development of an economically and environmentally effective technology for the refining of zinc oxide concentrates.

Development of a technology for hydrometallurgical separation of metal compounds from a homogeneous mixture constituting an amorphous mass generated in recycling of Li-Ion batteries.
Description: Within the scope of the project the scientific staff of the Łukasiewicz – Institute of Non-Ferrous Metals in Gliwice performed the service consisting in the development of a new technology. It concerned hydrometallurgical processes of metal compounds separation. The technology will lead to the maximization of raw material recovery from spent Li-Ion batteries. The study also includes guidelines for the design of the technological installation and the necessary infrastructure.

Development of a waste-free recycling technology for secondary batteries for electric devices and vehicles.
Description: Within the scope of the project the scientific staff of the Łukasiewicz – Institute of Non-Ferrous Metals in Gliwice performed the service consisting in the development of a new technology. It concerned the treatment of waste lithium-ion batteries. The technology is supposed to maximize the level of recycling through the implementation of zero-waste processes. The study also includes guidelines for the design of the technological installation and the necessary infrastructure.
